The sale, held in the second floor Event Room for the first time, blew through old sales records from the start, bringing in more than $16,000 on the first day alone.
The sale was made possible by the hard work of our Friends volunteers and Board, who spent a full month sorting books, moving furniture, alphabetizing, re-alphabetizing, and restocking shelves! They were joined for this sale by several volunteer groups from local schools and businesses, including:
- Intel
- PacifiCorp
- Scappoose High School Leadership Class
- Target (Hillsboro-TV Hwy.)
- Century High School Key Club
- Hilhi M.E.Ch.A. Club
