Air show traffic information for July 26-28

The Oregon International Air Show is coming up July 26-28, at the Hillsboro Airport, across the street from the Library. This means lots of road closures in the neighborhood, and although the Library will remain open normal hours it may be tricky to get here.

You can find complete information and a map on the Air Show website, but here are the basics:

• There will be road closures each day of the show:
• Friday, 12-3:45pm and 6:15-10pm
• Saturday, 10:30am-5pm 
• Sunday, 10:30am-5pm  
• During the closures, Brookwood Parkway will be closed to through-traffic between Dawson Creek Drive and Cornell Road.
• You can access the Library during the closures from the North ONLY. Please allow extra time, and be sure to have your volunteer badge with you.
• The Washington County Fair will also be happening right around the corner that weekend, so plan for heavier-than-usual traffic Thursday-Sunday.
