RFID is about to go live at both Hillsboro libraries. New security gates will be installed on Monday, February 20 (Presidents Day) at Main and Shute Park. The self-checks will also be refitted with RFID capabilities that day, and may be activated as soon as the 21st.
We're scheduled to turn the whole system on with an official "ribbon-cutting" on Thursday, February 23, at 12:30pm.
