The book sale starts on Friday: Shoppers and greeters wanted!

Twenty-five days of setup down, and four to go: the book sale is almost here! The Friends of the Library's semi-annual book sale kicks off on Friday, October 30, at 10am.

There's still time to help out as a book sale greeter: helping customers navigate the enormous sale and find the items they're looking for. If you enjoy talking with people and like a good treasure hunt, please consider giving it a try. There are just two things you need to do:

1. Come to book sale greeter orientation this Thursday, October 29, in the Event Room at the Main Library. Drop in any time between 4pm and 8pm, for a tour, training, and a slice of pizza. It shouldn't take more than an hour. 
2. Sign up for your greeter shift(s): http://bit.ly1OA6zmu. (It's ok to do this now, but make sure you come to the orientation!)

Whether you're a greeter or not, be sure to come by and shop! The sale will be open during normal Main Library hours from October 30 through November 8. The selection is amazing and meticulously organized, and you're sure to find something to entertain and delight!
