Summer Reading starts June 1, with books, activities, and prizes for all ages!
For kids, the theme is Dream Big! We'll have special events ranging from music to science, with magic shows, yo-yos, and the always-popular Reptile Man just for fun.
The Teen Contest features free books and some amazing prize packages, including a final drawing for a Kindle Fire.
For adults, we'll have weekly and month prize drawings for Hillsboro Public Library patrons, and a big county-wide drawing at the end of the summer. Special programs include cheesemaking and Indian music.
WCCLS has a great county-wide calendar of events, searchable by library and program type. And, of course, if you're interested in volunteering to help with events or registering kids for Summer Reading, let Molly know.
