WCCLS's annual Hearing Voices Storytelling Festival is coming up in a few weeks: April 7-14. There will be 13 storytelling performances across Washington County, featuring four professional storytellers from around the world.
Two of the performances will be in Hillsboro. On Tuesday, April 10, Leslie Slape will present "The Feather of the Firebird and Other Tales From Russian Folklore" at 7pm at the Glen & Viola Walters Cultural Art Center. And on Friday, April 13, the Main Library will host Kirk Waller, presenting "O' My Hammer and other Tales from Deep Down South" at 6:30pm.
